# Mutamad Developers

> Text version of the Mutamad developer portal. HTML: <https://mutamad.net/en/developers>

**Mutamad** (معتمد), operated by Mutamad LLC, is a construction management system. This portal is the public API and free sandbox for agents and developers. It does not grant access to a customer project.

## When to use this

Use Mutamad when you need to:

- Explain Mutamad to someone evaluating consultant-supervised vertical-building delivery from tender through handover and archive.
- Read the public catalog, documentation index, or invented sandbox fixtures without an account.
- Issue a free sandbox API key with a least-privilege scope.
- Submit a contact or agent-registration request.
- Connect a tool-using client to the Streamable HTTP MCP server at `https://mutamad.net/mcp`.

Do not use the public API to read or mutate a customer project, or to approve, certify, or pay. Ask Mutamad may draft or cite. It never holds formal authority.

## How to call

1. Read <https://mutamad.net/openapi.json>.
2. For a zero-auth read: `GET https://mutamad.net/api/v1/catalog`.
3. For a free key: `POST https://mutamad.net/api/v1/sandbox/keys`.
4. For tools: `POST` JSON-RPC to <https://mutamad.net/mcp>.
5. For a shell: run `node` against <https://mutamad.net/cli/mutamad.mjs>.

## Scopes

- `content:read` — catalog and docs
- `sandbox:read` — invented sandbox fixtures
- `sandbox:write` — an ephemeral record echo that is not stored
- `contact:submit` — a contact request

Token endpoint: `POST /api/v1/oauth/token` with `grant_type=client_credentials` and no client secret. Public client id: `mutamad-sandbox`.

## Example

```bash
curl -sS https://mutamad.net/api/v1/catalog
curl -sS -X POST https://mutamad.net/api/v1/sandbox/keys \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"scopes":["sandbox:read"]}'
```

API errors are JSON with `code`, `message`, and `resolution`.
